Adult Therapy

In individual therapy, you will have one-on-one sessions where you’re able to freely express and work through your difficult thoughts and emotions.

Life is full of challenges

You are constantly expected to manage home and work responsibilities, maintain relationships, have control over your emotions, and still wear that mom/wife hat, all while dealing with that past trauma that you have buried. Now that you are here, it is time to get the professional help that you have been thinking about and process your thoughts, feelings and emotions in a safe non-judgmental space.

If you’re struggling with learning boundaries and how to implement them, unlearning behaviors that were taught in childhood, learning who you are in this present moment, or dealing with what feels like anxiety or depression because of these things, you may benefit from therapy.

In individual therapy, you will have one-on-one sessions where you’re able to freely express and work through your difficult thoughts, feelings and behaviors that need to be changed in order to have a better quality of life. Individual adult therapy is for ages 18 and up who may be battling:

- Depression
- Anxiety
- Traumatic experiences-trauma from childhood that effects you in the present
- Interpersonal-relationship difficulties-maintaining healthy relationships with others
- Emotional distress-difficulty knowing how to cope with emotions or how to feel
- Life adjustments-break ups, divorce, relocating

In therapy, we learn about the negative behaviors that may be holding you back from
feeling your best and feeling at peace. The goal is to break generational curses and what has been passed down to you.We will work together to process past situations that may be effecting you in the present.

How long does therapy take?

Therapy is a process, change does not happen overnight.
We will establish goals in therapy and revisit them in 90 days to see where you are in
accomplishing your goals for therapy.

How does therapy work with you?

The first session will be your assessment where I will
gather information about you and what brings you into therapy  After the first session, therapy will be a laid-back environment where we will have an open dialogue of your inner world. From there, we will began to work on changing behaviors.
